Volunteer Application Process

Prospective volunteers can easily submit expressions of interest through this portal. The process is designed to be user-friendly and captures all necessary information for new members wishing to join an MSAR unit. If you are 16 or over and interested in serving your community, there are many roles available both on and off the water.

How to Join an Existing Unit

The first step is to get in touch. Please send an email outlining your interest, including answers to the questions below. This helps us direct your enquiry to the right people at an existing unit.
